This Tuesday Oracle co CEO Mark Hurd at said about Amazon at the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference which is in San Francisco. He said that “Amazon’s infrastructure to be very blunt, is old,”.And also he said that “Ours is newer and fresher.”
It is notes that Oracle took part of cloud business rays even in this conference he said that its revenue from cloud business is about $1.05 billion in the quarter ends in November and also it stays that it growth is about 62 percentage in that quarter.
Both Hurd and Larry Ellison said that they are now a cloud business leader.
Hurd insisted that “We sold more cloud recurring revenue than anyone in the industry, bar none,”. Also insist that the customer who are using their traditional database will not move to Amazon AWS. Only a small company will did that.
Those Amazon database will not get the jump from traditional Oracle database.
Finally he said that the words. “I’m totally locked into this space.”
It is also noted that the revenue of the AWS in this fourth quarter is about $3.5 billion.
